IMATS London 2011

I was really pleased to be working for Royal and Langnickel make up and art brush suppliers who sponsor IMATS (International Make Up Artist Trade Show). The make up brushes are of exceptional quality. The Silk range is just amazing and I enjoyed playing around with all the samples as we stocked the stand. Once the show opened the stand was buzzing with enthused make up artists waiting to stock up and sample new brushes that had been added to the range.

I was chuffed to bits to meet multi emmy awarding winning make up artist Kevin Bennett. It was not long before I spotted him with his make up kit. I took the opportunity to have a quick look with him. He had just added Kryolan eye shadow pallette V3 naturals (I also went and brought one to as the colours and texture of the eyeshadow was great!) Kevin was giving advice on the stand as well as presenting on the main stage.

World-renowned body painter Vargas created stunning body art work right infront of our eyes. Whilst trying to avoid the many cameras from the crowd taking pictures of him in action, I took the opportunity to take some pictures of my own to! The Vargas range of body art brushes are used in his work and also design by Vargas himself.

Anabel Vargas created some wonderful body art on the stand. All in black and white with amazing diamontes, adorning the artwork. During Anabel's demonstration she used C206 Round foundation brush and after the talk it sold out! Although I managed to get one- I must say I have used it and I do really like it. The rounded tip means you can control the foundation application around the eyes and nose creating a flawless finish.

When I could I took snaps of some shoppers who came to our stand!

Huge thanks to Michael, Susan, Brian and Heather from Royal and Langnickel for the opportunity to work for them I had a great weekend!
